Gingrich: **** the Supreme Court

As long as you and I both agree that a conservative is one who believes that the government must be constitutionally limited. Since liberals tend to trample the very idea of limited government then of course, quality people must mean conservatives.

You could say that a conservative believes in more limits, or different limits, than a typical liberal. The idea that liberals believe the power of the government should be completely unlimited is silly.

To an extent, yes. However, the Sixth Amendment guarantees a speedy trial, so Congress has no authority to screw with that. When defunding the courts starts to interfere with a person's rights, then they can't.

Problem is, how would they appeal that violation of their rights? In a court?

Constitutional limits...That is the whole point of a Constitution.

Where do you see limits on government power today?

We have complete nincompoops arguing that the government should tell us what kinds of light bulbs we may buy. They already tell me what toilet I can have. This is a government unconstrained in any real way. It is abhorrent to those who love freedom.
