Ron Paul has been consistent, unlike Newt, Ron Paul has been "faithful", unlike Newt, Ron Paul has never been a part of special interests, either by lobbying or accepting mass donations, unlike Newt, Ron Paul is right about almost everything, unlike Newt.

Yeah, while I disagree with Ron Paul on many issues, I have to give him credit for being very ideologically consistent.

He's actually pretty damned smart, but most people assume he's "crazy" because they don't understand (or care to understand) the premise for his ideologies.

Ron Paul was never Speaker of the House, like Newt. But he was all the other things like a career politician making tons of money.

I don't know, but Ron Paul should cut some of that out of his commercial, because he's been there just about as long. Paul has been on the finance committees, why didn't he do something? He made lots of money in a think tank, just like Newt.
 
Ron Paul made most of his money selling books, and from his own job as a doctor. Newt is as bad as Rommney on flipflopping on the issues, hes not Conservative, and while you try to point out his Speaker position as something of value, he was kicked out after his "Contract with America" BS.
 
Hes already been shown as a typical deceitful politician who uses his power, only for his own personal gain and his own accumulation of power.

You can point to his conviction as a thief? The one ethics charge that was not dropped was not for stealing.
