Voters Like Romney Best, But GOP Voters Give Edge to Gingrich

You cannot believe anyone could support Obama after the results he has generated no matter how bad the economy was three years ago. Makes no sense especially since our community organizer President has done nothing to make things better. I think this is an act on your part

And yet you still support Bush despite the fact that GDP fell every single year of his second term and the fact that he oversaw the near total destruction of our entire economy. Amazing.

BEA. gov disagrees with you, are they full of s***?

2007
IIIIIIIV

As usual you don't understand the numbers you're looking at. In this case you're looking at quarterly growth when you should be looking at annualized real growth.

Yep, except MUCH worse.

those 24 million Americans unemployed and under employed along with the 315,000 that dropped out of the labor force all in November 2011 will be happy to hear that

Con is full of ****. GDP growth never topped 2.5% in '07.

Your statement GDP growth never topped 2.5% in 07 and then this

In fact, GDP growth never hit 2% in all of 2007 or 2008.

You continue to talk out of your ass. what is it in liberalism that creates such loyalty?

I can assure you that they already know it. And I'm sure they're rooting for the team that refers to them as lazy parasites and constantly seeks to reduce their benefits.

I can assure you that you already know that you cannot defend the indefensible no matter how hard you try and you have given it the good old college try but failed miersably

Yes, I already said that the first graph I looked at was wrong. My bad. Now you can admit that GDP growth never topped 2.5% in '07, and never topped 1.6% in '08, and that in fact GDP growth consistently fell over Bush's last four years? :popcorn2:

And what Obama inherited: economy shedding 700,000+ jobs per month, GDP shrinking at 6+% per year, financial institutions teetering on the edge of collapse, trillion+ deficit.... Nice improvement.

Still blaming Bush I see.:( Obama knew damn well what he was "inheriting", in fact, he shelled out million$ in order to inherit it! That excuse might have worked his first year in office, but he's had plenty of time to settle in, and instead of putting it in reverse and taking us out of the ditch, lead foot Obama stepped on the gas!

Well, let's get real. Neither he nor any of the other candidates knew when they started running that things would get as bad as they did. And pointing out the historical context of what's happened isn't making excuses. It's simply putting the numbers in their proper perspective. Obama's critics want to act as though everything was fine and dandy and Obama came in and wrecked everything. Obviously that's not what happened.

What the hell did we pay Obama for as a Senator? You actually believe that a Senator involved in the legislative process and budget process along with the oversight of economic activities had no idea what the economy was doing? Wow,, are you really this naive?

Yeah, I think that pretty much no one anticipated that the crisis was going to be as bad as it was back in January of '07.

Go back and look at Bush's State of the Union, given later that month, and point out all of the material about the financial/real estate crisis.

Keep making excuses for a sitting Senator not having any clue as to what the economy was doing. He has carried that attitude and lack of understanding for over three years now as President

I think that if the President didn't have a clue, as he obviously didn't, it's a little much to expect a Senator to know. Have you found that January State of the Union speech yet? Did you notice that it doesn't contain a single word about a real estate or financial crisis?

Now I'm most certainly not defending Bush, in fact I think he was horrible, but Obama has been 10X as worse as Bush ever was. Everytime I hear an Obamabot defend the guy by saying "It's not his fault!!!!! He inherited it!" I throw up in my mouth a bit. By undercutting your guy like that, you are implying that he is above criticism and can not be held to the same standards as the rest of the Presidents.

Times were bad when Obama took office, but are they any better now, I mean he had 3 years to "fix" Bush's economy? Even Obama admits that if he doesn't fix the economy, he will be a 1 termer!

Ron Paul did, and said as much, all throughout his campaign.

Maybe, but he's been saying the same **** for 40 years.

Broken clock ... right twice a day....

More like 20 years on the economic side...And are you saying that this problem has only been in the making for 10 years? 5 years?

I'm sorry, but the dude called ALL of this to a T.

I don't know. It sure sounds to me like Obama knew the 4-1-1.

The video is from April of 2008 -- more than a year after he entered the race.

The problem would have occurred 20 years ago if the Dude's policies were in effect. His prescription is as close to the opposite of what we need as I can imagine.
