I honestly don't know. And to a point you're correct on Newt. That said, I think much of Newt's slimyness comes not just naturally but rather due to the various baggage he has...his affairs, his ethics violations, etc. Romney doens't have any of that, yet there's just something inherently.........off putting aobut him. Its really hard to say. And in my case its at least hard to say its some mormon thing since my far and away favorite candidate is also a Mormon.

What more do you need to know about it? He strapped the family dog to the roof of his car and took it on a 12 hour ride on interstate freeways.

How did it happen? In what way? I could be putting an animal in purpose-built container without harming the animal in anyway. And the article seems to be base on another article which was base on another person's rendering of the event.

I disagree. I find Gingrich exudes a sleaziness that seems to come naturally. The things he utters about poor people, Democrats - it seems to go pass criticism, the way he talks to people sometime is down right disrespectful, the smugness in his face. He reminds me of Limbaugh. If I met Gingrich at a party, I would avoid him.
