As variant as humans are, the Republican candidates represent these variations. Anyone who claims that all of the candidates are just clones of each other obviously haven't seen them debate. But what are the key points that vary that will truly decide which candidate wins? Personally I think the winner will be Romney, even though i do not believe he is the best candidate; he is just the best speaker - so was Obama. The real point that is not being focused on to the degree it should be are the threat of al Qaeida groups in countries outside of the middle east and how we should deal with them: should we try to stop them or let them destroy themselves? Other points of interest obviously is the economy, but who really hits the nail on the head when it comes down to fixing our economy? Another point of note is the expansion of the Patriot Act or the removal of the Patriot Act.

What is your feedback on these issues and what other issues do you feel has either not been addressed or has not had any candidate sufficiently solve.

I feel like few people understand that in order to win a presidency, more than being smart or having the right ideas are needed. If you cannot speak those ideas well, and explain them to the American people, and explain why they are right and how they will work, you are lacking and are probably not going to get elected. That is why we see so many well spoken candidates win.

Now, that is not to say that every well spoken candidate has the right ideas :) Just that they are able to speak more clearly about their ideas than the people who may have better ideas.

While I agree that the well-spoken candidate generally wins, I tend to think it is less the fact that they explain it to the American people and more of the "he used a big word, he must be smart, let's vote for him" attitude. The majority of Americans don't understand the fine points of politics and will vote to either spite their parents or to gain approval of their family body. Few people vote for a person and ideas and instead vote for a party.
