The movement "starts with the premise that we all owe them everything," said Gingrich. And the movement's sense of entitlement is a "symptom how much the left has collapsed as a moral system in this country, and why you need to reassert something as simple as saying, 'Go get a job right after you take a bath,'" the former speaker of the House concluded.

How far out of touch with the average American is he, anyway? Get a job, right after you take a bath? A lot of the people he's talking to college students and graduates, and they can't get jobs. There are no jobs. That is the problem.

Take a bath? That's what most of us who have invested in the real estate market have done, could that be his meaning?

Newt, who took $1.6 million from Freddie Mac? Newt who left his wife while she was battling cancer? That Newt is telling people that they think we "owe them" and that they are dirty, lazy bums?

What's the difference between Newt and a newt? Answer: The one is a slimy, cold blooded creature.


The other is a species of amphibian.

I'll vote for Romney. I'd vote for Huntsman. No way am I voting for Newt the newt.

if they could get a job and actually had a chance to climb the ladder so they could begin paying off their crushing college debt and getting started on their careers, a lot of them would be doing just that.

A politician that trolls is funny to those who get the "joke" and like that particular politician, childish to those who get the joke but don't like him, and just plain out of touch to those who don't get the joke at all.

One out of three isn't bad, I guess. It must be a new campaign strategy I haven't heard of yet, like when he said that child labor laws were stupid. :shrug:
 
Anyhoo, has the media decided who the next not-Romney is yet?
 
This gop primary has been the most ridiculous sideshow Ive ever seen...NONE of them should be president...

I wasn't a big fan of Newt before, but it was mostly because his atrocious behavior with his ex-wife and his audacity to say he did for love of country. I still considered he to be marginally competent for the presidency if elected, however. Now that he has start being covered more, I have a whole new level of disrespect for the guy.

Trolling is what you do when you can't defend your positions either because they are indefensible or because you lack the intellectual capacity to do so. Either way, Newt's trolling has taken Newt down in my estimation to the 'not competent to be president' level.

Members of the Occupy Wall Street crashed a town hall being hosted by Rep. Ron Paul at Keene State College in New Hampshire today.

At the conclusion of his speech, a group of protestors launched into their call and response that has become emblematic of the movement, with one member shouting a phrase and the larger group repeating it.

“There is something wrong with this system,” the protesters concluded. “We are the 99 percent.”

The group spoke for less than a minute, with a handful of Paul supporters beginning to shout back at the end.

Paul chuckled when they were done.

“Do you feel better?” he asked.

But then he got serious, pointing out that he agreed with some of their concerns.

“The people on Wall Street got the bailout and you guys got the bills and I think that’s where the problem is,” he said.

The media covers who polls strong, until they poll weak. That's news. That's their job.

I am going to be bummed to see the Anyone But Romney reality show draw to a close. Cain and Bachmann were a lot more fun than the Newt.

You would think that a person, with a college degree, would be able to figure out a way to become employed.

Just imagine if they spent as much time and energy starting their own business as they have living like hobos and bitching about not having a job with their useless college degree.

I am voting Ron Paul. I was a history/political science double major... before that I took an oath to defend to Constitution from enemies, both foreign and domestic. Right now I see as many domestic enemies as I do foreign.
Ron Paul is the only canidate I see holding true to our founding principles. There is a reason he has more military contributions than all the other canidates combined. Fighting and living abroad is an education not offered in school. The troops know he is our man.
I am not interested in voting for Romney cause supposidly he can win. I am intetested in doing what is right.

So - of all he said that's what you cued into? What about the rest of it? I take it since you're not responding to the rest of what he said that you agree with everything else - or what?

While they're there in the park the least they could do is volunteer their time to keep it clean and to protect each other and try to ensure safety of their own people and movement rather than relying on tax-payer dollars, law enforcement and cleaning crews to do it all for them.

But considering the cheers he received: everyone there agreed with him on that last part especially so it seems that a whole mass of people are clueless in this department.
