Republican Presidential Debate 11/12/11

I tried to get tickets as it is in my home town and the venue is just around the corner from my shop. They turned me down for tickets, but that's OK because I had tickets to the USC vs Florida game, and I believe I would rather go to the game than the debate. Oddly this is the second prez debate within a half hour of my home.

Anyhow, if y'all watch it on TV, look for the four black vertical banners in the background that say "Wofford College" in gold - we are making them right now. They called me about an hour ago wanting me to make these. On the invoice they may see some payback for turning me down for tickets.

I'm glad they plan so far in advance.

The one debate where we will not have to hear 9-9-9.

All I have to say is that Mitt Romney is delusional about Iran.

Cain doesn't mention that Iranian oil imports to the United States are already under sanction.

"If we elect Mitt Romney, Iran will not have a nuclear weapon." lololol

Romney will make sure Iran won't have a nuke.

Romney is dumber than I thought he was...or he thinks the American public is dumber than it is.

Ron Paul won't hear his normal claps tonight probably.

BTW, the show just preceding the debate in the Portland area was the animated kids show "Danger Ranger" lol

gonna be warhawks vs Ron Paul being a foreign policy debate.

If Ron Paul had a foreign policy more like everyone else on stage, I would have happily supported him by now.

I'm most interested in Huntsman's answers because he is probably the only candidate I haven't heard from the most.

I don't agree with the Ron Paul foreign policy in its entirety, but thus far he's the only one thus far who's said something sensible on Iran.
I don't agree with everything either, but he has the most limited foreign policy of all candidates Dem or Rep and I favor a very limited foreign policy.

Bachmann wrong on withdrawal date from the 'stan...otherwise it appears that she has at least tried to appear as if she has done her homework.

moderator is cutting them short.

Bachmann has a nice dress.

Interesting response from Huntsman, getting some applause from the audience.

Her problem though is that she isn't as dominant as the other candidates. She won't have a chance if she doesn't get more aggressive.

So Huntsman wants to withdraw from Afghanistan, except not really.

I would say that I don't necessarily subscribe to a very limited foreign policy, but rather smart power/smart foreign policy. I'll be glad to discuss this elsewhere.
