Herman Cain accuser Sharon Bialek spoke alongside her attorney Gloria Allred Monday afternoon. She is the fourth woman to make sexual harassment allegations against Cain, who grew up on Atlanta's West Side.

After the first one, Cain says he did nothing.
After the second one, Cain says he did nothing.
After the third one, Cain says he did nothing.

What's he going to say after this, the fourth one? I know, I know, he'll say he did nothing. Now I know why he doesn't want to address the accusations, and why he is attempting to blame it on the media, Politico, and Rick Perry. It certainly seems that he has something to hide. I don't believe that this is a matter that Cain should have handled differently, when it hit the public. It's not THAT kind of mistake. I honestly believe that Cain should not have harassed women in the first place, and he should not be lying and attempting to cover it up now.

Article is here.

What's the saying? Where's there's smoke there's fire?

You want to line up with Gloria Allred, have at it.

I am lining up with 4 (count 'em, 4) women who have been harassed. So yea, I am going to have at it.

And I betcha dollars to donuts that it won't be long before there is a 5th.

To be honest, I could care less about this. It has nothing to do with his ability to govern, it's just a good story for the media. He's running for president not trying to run a battered women's shelter.

Now his views on public policy, and lack of experience in anything other than pizza and radio, that is something to be concerned about, that is news worthy, and that is why he shouldn't be anywhere near public office.

i am enjoying his dismantling. he's a koch brothers lackey, and a lobbyist to boot. why did anyone ever think he would be honest about ANYTHING?

I agree that it's not as important as his policies and ignorance of world affairs, but it does say something about his character and impulse control -- or lack thereof.

#4 comes forward, is aligned with Allred and claims to be a republican?

I dont know of any republican that would choose Allred for representation. I think she knew exactly what she was doing. She went out for dinner and drinks about a job. Cmon. If she wanted a job she would have gone to the office, not out on what seems to ostensibly be a date. Plus shes from Chicago. Republicans are about as common as fur on fish up there. Just too many very weird coincidences in this one to be believeable to me. Maybe you find the timing and story believable. But, I do not and Allred's presence is a clencher, she has a history of being a dirty tricks player for Dems. Last thing, I want to find out who she works for now, because if shes in marketing and sales...well, Axelrod has a ton of connections in Chicago in that particular field.

I have mixed feelings. There is no way he should be President, but OTOH he would be a much easier opponent for Obama to handle.

If he lies, then that is an issue for whether or not he is fit to be president.

Presumably you also wrote off Paula Jones because she was represented and backed by conservatives ... and had an obvious profit motive?

of course he would be, and it would great if republicans gave him the nomination. but i am still enjoying his discomfort. he thought he could walk in with basically no knowledge about ANYTHING, and get the nod.

You want a president that doesn't lie? :lamo

Wishful thinking my friend, wishful ****ing thinking.

Gah I shouldn't be this jaded this young, pass the vodka!

I'm betting on several more coming forward before all is said and done. Sorry, TPers, your last candidate is biting the dust. I will make a suggestion for the next time around - start vetting possibilities now - and make sure that have some idea about things like international affairs (not the between the sheets sort!), a basic understanding of civics and history, and no history of believing total nonsense like Obama was born in Kenya or global warming is not occurring.

Shouldn't we want the best candidate in both parties to get the nomination and let the nation decide who they want to lead? Wishing for a bad candidate for president just so your party can win is one of the problems I have with the election process in America.

I'm not seeing the sexual harassment. He made a pass, she said no, he stopped. No means no. Right?

The Dems are scared ****less of Herman Cain.

Gloria Allred Enjoyed Having Her Junk Groped - YouTube

Here's Gloria joking about a TSA grope that she enjoyed. Hahahahahah, that's so funny, but when there's money to be made (against a Rep Prez Candidate)...........OOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH NO, IT'S HARRASSMENT....WE MUST SUE!!!!

You're just dismissing the allegations because you're Black and he's black ;)

Didn't you say the same thing about Sarah "The Quitter" Palin? It's rather odd how you think we fear the weakest in your party.

Not true. In the press conference, the accusation has been made that Cain attempted to grab her genitals, and tried to pull her head towards his crotch. When she resisted, his reply was "You want a job, don't you?". If this is true, then this is not sexual harassment, but an attempted sexual assault.

I do not believe that color has the slightest bearing here. I believe he is defending Cain, not because Cain is black, but because Cain is a Republican. And I will be the first to say that this is natural. Look at all the Democrats who defended Clinton when Paula Jones made her accusations.

It's false bravado. Publicly, you say that Obama has a damn good chance of winning, too.
