Cain Leads Perry 27%-26%... in Texas

Ain't that the truth?

I know, they prefer "earthy" Americans (like Cain), knowing something is irrelevant, especially since they are in the process of re-writing History, why learn anything if it's going to be changed! Ha,ha

Education and intelligence aren't always the same thing. Look how great of a job those so called, "smart", people have done so far.

A lot better than the dumb ones (Bush) did.

That's a matter of opinion. I disagree with your assessment. Obama has been a terrible President.

Your opinion is biased and you are blinded to the truth. Obama hasn't started any needless Billion dollar wars. Obama hasn't put the country in the toilet.

Wasn't there a vote to take military action against Sadaam?

I believe there were 17 UN resolutions also.

But you knew that.

Maybe you ignored that because it blows up your Bush bashing.

Doubling our national debt in two years does have a rather septic odor.

I'd agree that Obama's been a failure. Two in a row -- Go America!

I see no bias or blindness in post #55.

Perhaps you can explain to us what you mean. (In a civil manner of course.)

Wait--can you say in all honesty that your opinion is not biased? What constitutes "putting the country in the toilet" to you? Is the U.S. better off three years into Obama's Presidency?

He (and his henchmen) have damaged this country almost beyond repair and did so on purpose. I am not the one blinded to the truth ma'am.

The economy is not on a downward spiral like it was when George left. You need to quit drinking the KoolAid.

Why do conservatives keep playing the dumb card? Yes, Congress voted on the war, but only because Bush/Cheney told them there were WMDs in Iraq.

Did Bush know there weren't any WMDs? He had an opportunity to research it further, but he didn't because he wanted the war so bad. So, don't give me that BS.

Two former CIA officers say the president squelched top-secret intelligence, and a briefing by George Tenet, months before invading Iraq.

Shakesville: Bush Knew There Were No WMD's in Iraq

That's another load of crap Republicans/conservatives swallow and spew out as fact. Truth is, much of what is credited to Obama spending is actually crap that Bush signed before he left.

But every year starting in 2002, the budget fell into deficit. In January 2009, just before President Obama took office, the budget office projected a $1.2 trillion deficit for 2009 and deficits in subsequent years, based on continuing Mr. Bush’s policies and the effects of recession. Mr. Obama’s policies in 2009 and 2010, including the stimulus package, added to the deficits in those years but are largely temporary.

The second graph shows that under Mr. Bush, tax cuts and war spending were the biggest policy drivers of the swing from projected surpluses to deficits from 2002 to 2009.

A few lessons can be drawn from the numbers. First, the Bush tax cuts have had a huge damaging effect. If all of them expired as scheduled at the end of 2012, future deficits would be cut by about half, to sustainable levels.

Of course you see no bias or blindness - you are blinded by your own misinformation.

Yes it is. When Bush left office we were spiraling downward. If it hadn't been for the Stimulus, which Republicans keep insisting didn't create jobs or saved jobs, we would have gone into a depression. We sure as heck are in a better position than being in a depression.
