Perry opposes Confederate license plates in Texas

Apparently apdst is a black white supremacist.

Are you implying that apdst is........

I have no idea if he is or if he is not all or any part of that. But his sources are obviously something to be seriously questioned as having any validity of any kind. And the views which he then espouses from those sources are even more in question.

It doesn't change the facts.

It doesn't change the facts.

What facts? You cite extremist articles from murders serving life sentences in prison printed in white supremacist publications and expect us to take them for "facts" when they are radically different from any other mainstream accepted information on the same period.

You really must be joking.

I wish you were because it would be easier to take than this ugly intellectual fraud.

While I wouldn't necessarily think this guy's writing would be a great example....

The problem is that you are expecting "mainstream" writing.....

It isn't "Mainstream" to talk about these things that are hidden from the history books.

I've posted several links for you. Read them and learn something. Just because you lambast the author of only one of those sources, doesn't make you right. Sorry.

If you think I'm an intellectual fraud, then you need to start spittiout some sources of your own that prove me wrong.

Great or not, it is the main source apdst relies on for his information. No wonder it is so skewed that even wikipedia has judged it unreliable and not usable because it has never been submitted to be fact checked.

I am more than willing to accept revisionist writings by historians with actual records and credentials other than serving life sentences in Indiana for murder and using white supremacist publications to get their views out.

You're right, this kind of historical minutiae isn't going to be mainstream, no matter what the subject.

No, it was the first source that I found, not my main one. You still haven't addressed a single one of the other sources that I posted.

I did no say YOU were the intellectual fraud - I said what you were perpetrating here was an intellectual fraud. The problem with your authors and your sources is that they come dripping with neo-nazi and white supremacist credentials and are so radically different than any other peer reviewed written history that they are immediately flushed away where they belong.

The problem here IS YOUR OWN SOURCES never stand up to the light of day.

Oh but I did. Now tell us who LARRY KOGER is since he seems to be the other main source you rely on. His writings are the basis for several of the sources you cite in addition to the discredited Robert M. Grooms.

Don't you get it yet? Your beliefs are based on the writings of white supremacists, at least one who is a murderer in prison in Indiana, whose work was even rejected for print by Wikipedia which pretty much prints tons of stuff that others will not use. Your boy Grooms could not even pass that weak test.

Still no sources, eh?

Was it Robert Grooms or Larry Kroger who taught you this

What I will do, however, prove that all 11 Confederate states and 3 border states had state wide referendums on secession.

Remember that? And then you gave us a Wikpedia source which proved you to be a liar when it told of only THREE states which did so.

You have absolutely ZERO credibility on the issues of the Civil War and slavery.

you want sources

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slavery_in_the_United_States

this destroys most of what you have cited about slavery in America including the numbers of Southerners who owned slaves and their living conditions

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Confederate_states_of_america

no mention of your lies about state wide referendums

the Highly respected Kenneth Stampp work which shows your white supremacist claims about slavery have no foundation in fact, reality or the historical reford

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Peculiar_Institution

order it, read it, learn from it, its taught in colleges all over the nation unlike your white supremacist publications

http://www.amazon.com/Peculiar-Inst...=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1320703967&sr=1-1

this is a definitive work from an award winning highly respected historian

You're going to bring thta thread up...again? :lamo

It just kills you that with all your education and sophistication, that a dumb ol' truck driver from Louisiana got your goat. Don't it?

BTW, have actually read thos books you posted?

At least this thread took a turn to funny.

Cain and Adam T. Get the funny bone award for cracking me up.

Got my goat!?!?!?!? What are you talking about.

You made a boast

What I will do, however, prove that all 11 Confederate states and 3 border states had state wide referendums on secession.

And then you utterly failed to back it up. You only came up with a source which showed three states - NOT THE 14 you promised held such state wide referendums. It that makes you by your own admission DUMB - that is your badge.

You lied.

Yup, I have read those books. Thats what people do who want to be informed.

Moderator's Warning:
Apparently you have decided to make personal attacks instead of debating the issue. So, apparently I am warning you that if you continue to do this, you will receive further consequences.

You jumped in here...

You still have yet to show one word in the Constitution that says a state cannot succeed, period.

Everything else has nothing to do with 99 or your statement. Unless you can show where this it is in the Constitution you are wrong, period. Even the judges could not point it out. What does this tell you?

Has nothing to do with civics at all.

Again, pot, meet kettle. It has everything to do with civics. The Supreme Court ruled, and that decision is final. By your logic, since it's not mentioned in the Constitution, the United States Air Force is unconstitutional. Wouldn't you agree?

Blackdog.. he called you a pot

And you still don't get it.

I am done because you are just not going to accept that this has nothing to do with the SCOTUS or civics.

And what does "pot meet kettle" have to do with anything? Please point out how I am doing or saying the same thing you are? :2wave:
