Rick Perry was interviewed after a recent dinner meeting with Donald Trump; he now seems to believe that President Obama's birth certificate was probably a fake. Perry is obviously desperate for votes and is likely to say the most incredibly stupid things; though he certainly does understand his "base".
 
As if more proof was needed that Perry is a nutter. The TP better do their best to keep Trump away from Cain.....

“I have no reason to think otherwise,” he said.

Pressed for a “definitive” answer, Perry continued: “Well, I don’t have a definitive answer, because he’s never seen my birth certificate.”

“But you’ve seen his,” the interviewer replied.

“I don’t know. Have I?” Perry said.

Honesty is the best policy, but it's expected that unjustified smear attempts will be carried over into DP from the far left blogs. It's just gonna happen....

While I surely don't feel Perry is well endowed with grey matter btwn his ears about all I see him here saying is that it is a non-issue.

i haven't see it myself, felt it, explored it for errors. so I too don't know for SURE...that's its real.

but I don't care..and that's the big difference.

Indeed...lets TALK about being dishonest. Dude says he didnt know, nor does he care, that it is a non-issue...yet SOME people just insist on making this a hit piece. That dishonesty thing...it IS a bitch...isnt it?

I don't have any reason to believe he wasn't born in Hawaii ,though... and i'm sure you don't either.

that makes me ,you ,and Perry....in agreement.

so why did you feel the need to be dishonest when you started this thread?

what compelled you to write "he now seems to believe that President Obama's birth certificate was probably a fake" when you had no evidence of him doing that but had evidence of the opposite?

Birthers don't pretend very well, though they are quite good at promoting slimey innuendo. I'm sure fair and balanced folks find Perry's oblique equivocations to be very persuasive.

so when Perry says he has no reason to believe Obama wasn't born in the US, that really means " I don't accept that Obama was born in the US"

the op didn't exaggerate.. he lied.... kinda like you just did.

Every time an idiot like Perry says "I don't know" he knows exactly what he's doing and who his target audience is.
The question still stands: How stupid would you have to be to believe in birther conspiracy theories? How stupid would you have to be to have ever given any credence to any part of it in the first place?
