McCain staffers weren't leaving to work for Obama.

And, it's New Hampshire.

Good, the more the field is narrowed, the less chance romney has. Now, we just need one or 2 more to drop out to concentrate the muddled conservative vote.

This is kind of funny. They know her campaign has no chance. It reminds of the way McCain-Palin staffers started going at each others throats a few weeks before the election. They knew Obama was going to win. They knew their campaign was doomed, and that's happening to Bachmann now.

I suspect Perry and Cain are going to get bounce soon.

How long before they back Trump? :)

When running from one nuthouse to another one still ends up in a nuthouse.

Sweet Jesus! I look at the GOP and shake my head in utter amazement. Obama has fallen from grace from many middle of the road, swing voters and perhaps even some of his base and all the GOP can come up with are absolutely bat**** nutters. Like my grandfather used to say, "Son, you can't even do wrong right" meaning a I'd **** up a free lunch counter. You'd think the GOP could pony up a number of candidates who exhibit real leadership qualities who might actually unify much of the nation. But, oh hell no. You have Romney, who most Republicans don't even want; Cain who is a novelty candidate and polarizing within the party; and then the asshats, clowns and crazies Bachmann, Perry and Gingrich. None of which has a snowball's chance in hell getting votes from moderates, swing voters or anyone with more than the brains of a large rabbit. Then you have Ron Paul who makes sense, but NO ONE listens to because he's a little too bright for rank and file GOP voters. Paul tends to address issues with logic and that doesn't work in 30 second sound bites. There's also Gary Johnson who makes a lot of sense. Most GOP voters don't know who the hell he is because like Paul, Johnson uses logic which baffles the hell out of conservatives. Johnson could actually grab a lot of people who are sick of Obama. That's not going to happen. Johnson like Paul is a thinking man's candidate. He's too bright to be a TeeVee candidate.

Gingrich? I can understand Bachmann, Perry is a stretch, but Gingrich? He is probably more intellectual then most of us here in this very forum!

The field is better then you think, and I'm fairly pleased with it, the only probably is that the vote is so split, that the very candidates no one wants, can win...which is ****ed up in my opinion. Makes me wish for preference voting :/

Gingrich's intellect is overshadowed by his HUMONGOUS ego and so I categorize Gingrich as an asshat. He has exactly no chance, though I'm sure he thinks he's a shoe in. Gingrich is slime.

I would consider Johnson, but other than that I wouldn't vote for a Republican. I won't vote for Obama. I stopped voting for the incumbent for any office about 10 years ago. I can't stand either ruling party. They are completely bought and sold, everyone of them.

From one dumb s*** candidate to another, I bet it's a tiring job trying to help either one avoid any non staged questions from the press.

...and the more the Repubs think that "anybody but Romney" is the answer, the more likely the answer will be Obama.

Why do you say that? Romney, Huntsman and Gringrich are the only adult candidates here. And Newt and Huntsman won't win the nomination. You're getting Romney. Whether you want him or not. The question is just how much more do you dislike Obama then Romney?

Romney thinks when he wins New Hampshire everyone else will give up.

What about Cain?

Thus far, the GOP's nomination campaign has been an absolute hoot. It hasn't usurped the hilarity of Palin in 2008 yet, but if they end up with Cain heading up the ticket I believe it will. I agree with other posters who say Gary Johnson and John Huntsman would be candidates worth seriously considering. I'm not as sure about Ron Paul. None of that matters because it looks like we are going to get either Cain or Romney.

I wouldn't vote for Cain. To many changes in his plans and ideas since he has begun campaigning. It is like he is figuring out what he has to say to get elected on the fly.

Before Bachmann, Cain & Perry pointed out all of his flaws, I was actually looking at possibly voting for Romney. They changed my mind.

Why should Democrats who don't vote for Republicans tell Republicans who to nominate?

Romney is no shoe in. He is certainly the favorite, but I remind you that last cycle at this time, Clinton was the favorite to win the democratic nomination. Paul, Bachmann Huntsman and Santorum are realistically the only ones really out of it at this point.

Huntsman will probably be in so much debt after the primary. Hopefully, he'll be able to pay it off.

I don't know anyone pulling for Huntsman that isn't a Democrat.

There is no groundswell for Huntsman. He's the guy who stands for nothing.

I'll vote for obama over Romney. Obama has integrity, and commitment, even if I disagree with 99% of it. Romney has neither of those things.

FALSE! I am the primary voter, and my vote counts, as well as everyone else. Who are you to dictate what kind of candidate i am going to get? Are you just some harvard intellectual? or the 1% who is trying to rig the game? I've already stated my opinion, I will stay with Obama if Romney gets it, I will never let him get into the white house.

I'll probably vote for gingrich, he's my first choice right now.

I don't know what Obama is committed to other than four more years of the same failed policies of the last three years.

Do you?

Maybe I'll vote for Perry just to get him out of Texas.
