precisely, and blowing off steam by being silly after the conclusion of such an event is a far preferable alternative to (for example) partying with drugs and hookers.

People here seem to be underestimating the persuasive power of images....
Yes, we all know that the picture itself is not condemning, and not indicative of any wrongdoing on Romney's part. However, let's say you're on the Obama campaign, making an attack ad, and at one point the subject of big banks, or tax rates for the rich, or any number of similar things, pops up. Which picture are you going to impose over that - one with Romney looking happy or decent, or one with him stuffing money down his suit?
Fact is, fair or not, we will be seeing this image in the coming year, possibly quite a lot.
Also I still find it f***ing hilarious. Seriously, look at it. That's the man who could very likely become President.

Romney as Job Creator Clashes with Bain Record of Job Cuts - Bloomberg
Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s campaign misses few opportunities to promote his record creating jobs, including his role in taking Staples Inc. (SPLS) from a start-up to the world’s largest office-supply retailer.
“You’d have a president who has spent his life in business -- small business, big business -- and who knows something about how jobs are created and how we compete around the world,” he said at a campaign stop last month at Buddy Brew Coffee in Tampa, Florida.
What Romney skips is his experience in eliminating jobs. It’s a facet of his career that presents a particular challenge for the Republican primary frontrunner: Tough business decisions don’t necessarily translate into good politics.
