Congratulation to Mr Romney and Mr Perry for being selected by the media as republican candidates for the republican primary. and congratulation to the magnificent state of American democracy and the lack of influence and involvement of people.

bravo.

You have no clue what you are talking about. The media is reporting on what is happening, and right now, Cain is more a frontrunner than Perry. When you don't even know what is happening and yet make a thread about it, that is amusing.

Of course, the media are just reporting information. They have no ill motive or any desire to engineer the election so as to further the interests of the corporate and political elite. Nothing to see here move along!

Don't agree with you often, but this guy has no clue. If the media had chosen Romney and Perry, why did Cain win the Florida and Minnesota straw poll and why was Perry brininging up the rear?

Bravo, indeed.

Oh yeah? I don't see any mainstream media reporting on Ron Paul or any other republican primary candidate for that matter. Are you saying all those people are at home sleeping then since the media reports on "what is happening"?

I've seen Herman Cain on Fox, CNN, CBS, and NBC, THIS WEEK.

1) then you are not looking

2) Ron Paul is not a serious candidate with a real chance at the nomination. It's not the media making that the case, it is the numbers. Paul's problem is not the media, it is his stance on issues and what issues he emphasizes.

Herman Cain doesn't stand a chance now that Romney and Perry has been selected by the mainstream media. You maymget the odd statement from the other candidates in mainstream media, but that is only to pretend that they also care about those candidates.
Please come back to me in the beginning or end of February to let me know the status of Cains attention in mainstream media.

Better yet, you measure the facetime of candidates in February?

Do you deny that the media if they want can select who wins a presidential election?

Cain is getting a ton of media attention now. If he is still doing well, he will continue to get a ton of media attention. Your conspiracy nonsense is nonsense. You know who I am not seeing much on the MSM? Romney. I have seen more of Paul recently than Romney, but then again, Romney is mostly just coasting and surprise, with him not doing alot newsworthy, he is not getting alot of attention. Please get back to me when you have any kind of knowledge about American politics or news.

You are so off deep. I'm done with this thread. Redress and I have told you that he is all over the news and even winning straw polls and has pulled past Perry and closing the gaps on Romney in virtually every poll. So when you are able to acknowledge this and able to accept reality and have coherent conversation, I might come back.

What is funny is Perry is in the news alot, but it is because he is falling in the polls drastically. It's not the kind of reporting Perry wants.

Apparently he is not on TV in Europe, so it must not be true...

Yeah right.. As if any of those people are on European channels. Europeans don't give a rats ass about Republican primaries. In fact, I think Europeans have given up on America in general.

My opinion is based on what I have seen on American channels, because as you may understand, they are also available in Europe.

You mean kinda how there isn't much about European politics here? Interesting.

You guys think that since you have no clue about European politics that we have no clue about American politics? You guys are wrong, mst Europeans understand English, while most Americans don't understand anything except English. A bit easier for us to understand you than for you to understand us. Not only that, we don't make politics about simplification, so our system is a bit more advanced, no one expects Americans to understand it, heck, many Europeans don't even understand it.

Understand this my suppressed friend, American democracy is dead, its a joke, a game, a play, a hustle. Its time for you people to rise up.

I think I can at least recognize sarcasm...

Paranoia strikes deep
Into your mind it will creep
It starts when you're always afraid
Step outa line the man comes and takes you away

American democracy is dead...as we head into another election cycle.

Sorry, but this is just another tired whine from a Euro-Lefty who has never fogiven us for supplanting the European elite. We'll live with your contempt. After all, if the Germans get frisky you might need us once again.

So you say... Americans dont care about politics like I dont care about nuclear science...

what does Americans care about? Britneys last night out? Perry bashing Romney, Romney bashing Perry?

I dont think Americans get to care much about politics either as politics is not on the political agenda in the US..

Got it? eh?

Actually, if you'd practice your English. I said Americans don't care about Europeans or THEIR politics. Got it, eh?

Election... Right. Did you know Hitler got a lot of votes in election? Do you know that democracy is not only about eletion?

In fact, do you know what democracy is about at all or did the political class spin that reality our of your head? Democracy is only as democratic as the people make it, the quality of it measured by the real participation of the people (besides election), its about equal chance, its about the people holding politicians accountable, its about the people understanding politics, its about politicians actually performing politics, not circus. democracy is not about paying and manipulating your way into office and then dont give a **** about what the people want. its not about to parties fighting each other for their own selfish reasons, its about representing what the people want.

America isn't a democracy, it's a republic.
