This forum is for discussion of items directly related to the 2012 Presidential Election. Polling, election strategies, discussion of campaign speeches by the candidates, platforms, predictions, revelations about the candidates and similar threads are welcome here. What should be placed in other sections are stories about current events not from the campaign trail, threads about people other than the candidates or their staff or running mates, state of the union type threads, or anything else not directly related to the campaign. All of those type threads are worthy topics but better fit other sections of the forum.

Now that the election is over, this forum is for discussing the election and it's results. Threads not pertaining to the election should be placed in a more appropriate place.
