Neighbors with adequate assets, paid for, new Toyota Avalon and big motor home, paid for, but low income on paper, and going down to the free commodities hand out and getting groceries. Their networth was easily half a million at the time....
One of my sisters scamming local churches for money and food assistance.
My younger brother who has never worked since he got "disabled" out of the service for bad hearing, which limits his job prospects, but only a little. If he hadn't inherited the dump my parents had, he would be on the street. He gets money to sit on his butt.
Idaho neighbor in an FHA subsidized home, paying very little, and still trying to deduct interest he wasn't paying on his income tax. His house didn't even qualify for the program.
I know a lot more.....
