In my first home, I met a neighbor who had been caught defrauding the welfare system and had since been banned from receiving payments, so she registered as having lived with her mother just over the border in a different state and had that state's taxpayers paying her welfare benefits. Last time I talked to her, she was on her 5th child.

They tell you they are not going to tax your family.
