| Do you personally know of anyone that has abused a public assistance/welfare system?
Ok, this is not meant to be a debate on whether we should have safetynet / assistance programs or not. Instead, I am just wondering how many on here personally know someone who abused a welfare / public assistance program and if so, what they did to abuse it. Remember though, this is direct knowledge on your part, not something you heard.
For example, I know a single mother that took one of her earned income credits and got a boob job with it.
