The imposition of morality can only be understood by reference to economic relations (and how they encourage compliance). Thus, capitalism feeds off asymmetric family power as it supports the required hierarchical labour relationships needed to maximise economic rents (e.g. it maximises underpayment via discriminaton). We could then only understand 'abortion crime' by referring to the maintenance of unequal power divides in the family.
