| Re: Texas Approves a $4.93 Billion Wind-Power Project Concerning Mr. Pickens plan, I wonder if anyone has factored in the cost of converting cars to NG? Freeing up NG to use in cars is fine, but how many citizens can pay for the conversion? Arizona had a tax subsidy for conversions that was very generous, but ended up costing the state hundreds of millions of dollars before they backed off. A politician or 2 went down the tubes over the project. With that fiasco on the books, I doubt that any other state will do the same.
I applaud the windmill projects, especailly in Texas. The visual impact won't be so bad there, because much of it is flat, dull, plain, etc.
But it will be expensive....
