Show me where I claim I am against domestic drilling. Did you even notice my point about research facilities that owe their existence to the gov't? The gov't has been researching tech's and turning over their findings to buisness for a century. Should this stop because of some screaming idiot on youtube? This is how most major problems have been solved in the USA.

BTW, money is capitol The gov't takes money in the form of many different taxes from its citizens. If money is capitol and the gov't takes money in taxes then the gov't must have capitol. Also the gov'ts job under the constitution is to protect the general welfare of the citizens. What is going to happen to the "general welfare" if we have a major power down.
