| Re: Voters to Decide Same-sex Marriage in California Not to mess up the delusional world that you leftist dwell in, but people like A. Philip Randolph, Roy Wilkins & Dr. Martin Luther King Sr. would have most assuredly been opposed to "gay marriage", as these people & many of their contemporaries were conservative in regards to social, moral and cultural issues. They were blacks who were seeking to have an equal place in society, not seeking to overthrow any generally accepted cultural/social norms.
The modern identity-politico leftist applies a civil right claim to anything that they don't like about traditional society & often alludes to the struggle of blacks in our country's history. If you are opposed to any of the left's social re-engineering machinations, well then you're no better than an angry bigot from the 1950's South with a firehose in your hand. |
