Its rather discouraging these people act this way a have a few possibilites of why.

1. They are self loathing

2. They get somekind of turn on by doing forbidden things

3. They are attempting to change themselves by going as far in the opposite direction as possible.

Whilst i know people love to jump on this calling on the hypocracy i have quite alot of sympathy for these guys their whole world is collapsing around them and everyone is laughing at them.Not to mention how horrible it must be on their families.
