McCain Campaign Had Protestor Holding "Bush=McCain" Sign Removed From Event - Politics on The Huffington Post

Big brotha jumpin on mah back.
She asks with a smile, why would any Republican find it offensive that she had a sign equating McCain with Bush.

Well, if Ms. Kreck was running for elected office and her opponent tried to associate her with an unpopular president even though they had completely separate agendas, points of view and ways of doing things, she might find it unfair and not very truthful of her opponents to hold up a sign stating that:

Kreck = Bush.

Because you see, Ms. Kreck was a librarian and so was Laura Bush.

That means they have to be the same. And because Laura Bush is married to George W. Bush that means if you opposed George W. Bush's policies then you must also oppose Ms. Kreck.

Simple logic.

For simple minds.
