Well my kids never seem to notice flaxseed oil or wheatgerm in their smoothies. They will however complain to high holy heaven if I attempt to spread some on a bagel and hide it with cream cheese.
As far as tofu goes I think it takes talent. You gotta know what you're doing and I just don't. Some restaurants really do wonders with tofu and others stink at it. For me tofu is really hit or miss. Unlike tempeh you can really screw tofu up so I rarely mess with the stuff.
