The difference is that I don't have a problem with nonamerican's effecting our elections. Their opinions do have an effect on me, but that effect is not going to overrule my own decision making as well. Example: If the majority of our allies threatened to no longer deal with us if candidate X were elected, I sure as hell wouldn't vote for candidate X. I'm okay with admitting that. That is having an effect on our elections. I'm saying that many American's will listen to viewpoints that come from different sources and make a decision accordingly.

You may have meant to say the same thing but I didn't get that from your post at all.
