Not really. I've made some friends on this board that have some diametrically opposing view points to mine. I'm definitely more leery of folks that keep themselves coccooned from outside viewpoints than those who only associate with those that agree with them. It's like the old chinese adage about people who are wise enough to realize that they don't know everything.

It's a bit like the whole "Obama's dad was a muslim" allegation. It rings of "who gives a crap" to me. My paternal grandmother was a mormon and my maternal grandmother was a prostitute. The delineation of the bloodline makes me neither a member of the LDS nor does it make me a hooker on the corner. I'm the sum of the parts I've created for myself now that I'm an adult.
