Both MSNBC and FoxNews has a majority of "editorial" shows so they can always use the defense of it not being "technically" a news show. What if Bill O'Reilly posted a fabricated photo of Obama shooting heroin the month before the election and went off as if it were verified? Would that not be a similar instance to the Dan Rather story? I think it would and so would the public I suspect. That's the problem, they hide behind the shield of being an "editorial" show and then basically get to say whatever they want to.
