Wage reductions are only predicted if human capital is held constant. Fair trade, via the maximisation of trade, would increase income and therefore enable greater investments in human capital.
You sound like you're anti-fair trade. Economic nationalism would account for your failure to refer to the economic analysis into globalisation.
