This is flawed though. Who really believes that, I doubt you do.
So if the U.S. believes Iraq needs its regime changed, then according to your philosophy we should immediately, attack and overthrow every single country/nation in existence today that poses a threat to the U.S.
1. We should NOT take into account the manpower or funding shortfalls.
2. We should NOT take into account the fact that we'll lose and what that entials.
That's grade-A crazy.
Here, I will show you. you have 100 points of life/energy/resource to help a cause.
Here are the causes:
problemA : needs 3000 points
ProblemB: needs 1000 points
problem C: needs 10,000 points.
So, you are arguing that by spending 100 points on any one thing in an attempt to help the problem, they are to be faulted since they didn't help the other three? Since when did helping someone mean you are to be scorned? If you put 33, 33, 34 points in each, well, you didn't help as much as putting 100 so you still suck right? I mean, why didn't you put 100 points in problemA!!! Do you see why your argument appears to be completely off-base?
Maybe you should fight for what you choose to fight for. And applaud those fighting for things that should be fought for. Maybe then you'd be justified.
