If feminists in the U.S. OPPOSED women's rights in Islamic nations, THAT would be hypocritical. But on average I would suspect they don't, so your point is still bust IMO. Do you see it differently?
-Mach | Nearly everyone is hypocritical about somethings people often dont think what they think they think.Im talking about people like germaine greer who has banged on about feminism in the west for years but ive seen her in no major way banged on about the repression of women in the middle east.If you feel strongly enough to protest against pay differences you should at least feel as strong about women being stoned to death.I see feminism as a universal idea you seem to be adhering to cultural relevitism.I feel the same way about human rights thats not to say all cultures have to be the same more that there are a certain fundamentals that should be pushed as universals.
