If there was a way to force that president to pay the $500,000,000,000 to the US people I would be all over it.
I understand you want to see the guy punished and I understand why. What I don't understand is how you can see an impeachment as any worthwhile punishment. It would be like buying a $10,000 rock to throw at your neighbors windows. I do not support wasting tax dollars to slap a guy on the wrist. Real punishment or don't waste my money, and impeachment will not generate a real punishment.
Now, had the impeachment been forthcoming say 2 years ago, maybe it'd have been worth something. 5 years ago, certainly. But today? It's not enough and has no benefits.
