That's why I always liked posters like you, NCFY and jallman, Alex. I frequently castigate identity-politics & group-think. Often, I take shots at the self-declared spokes-mouths for the gay group-identity, you guys rarely take exception.
I commend you guys for understanding that at times "the group" may represent your views, but they don't always represent your views & nobody thinks in a monolithic way just because of a particular characteristic they share with a larger group. |
