If there were closet rights, I'd suspect that it's because they're appalled that their own "kind" go to the lengths they do. I worked with a gay man that you never would've guessed from looking that he was gay. He was pretty right-leaning too. We knew he was gay, and if you asked him he'd tell you straight up. However, he dressed professionally at work and has pictures of himself dressing normally. He didn't talk with that "fag lithp" and didn't draw unnecessary attention to himself. He resented gay culture because it was everything he wasn't. And you couldn't ask for a nicer, more intelligent and well-spoken man.

I'd agree with your statement as a whole though. The "left gays" are the ones that warrant the negativity they do and drag down the bulk of them.
that is so AWESOME. I never thought gays like that existed. Not even the "fag lithp"? Wow.

As for me, being openly gay isn't much of concern. You have people who are openly hetero as well (i.e. prostitutes, womanizers), the one thing that annoys me though is the "fag lithp", I swear, whoever invented that is going to get a bullet through the head. Just because your gay doesn't mean you can't talk normaly.
