So let's hypothesize a scenario here.
We impeach Bush.
Then he is found to have committed unprecedented crimes after a drawn out legal process.
Then he's removed from office. If we're lucky we're looking at what, December?
So we punish him by firing him one month early. Cost to taxpayer? High. Punishment level? Low. Am I missing something?
