The ad didn't say he did. What you just did is called a strawman. Which is exatcly what Zyphlin did. The ad makes reference to McCain's stance on lobbyists and how he has been in a very vocal opposition to their unethical practices(like lobbying on behalf of dictators) yet he is hiring these very people to run his campaign.

This is a huge misdirection made to appeal to some patriotic sentiment. McCain has made his opposition to lobbyists an issue. That is what the ad addresses. When you're ready to talk about that instead of what you wish the ad said then you're welcome to come back.
