McCain isn't "My candidate". I'm not a fan, nor am I supporting McCain.
Nor am I "upset" by the Ad. I think its an excellent ad to be honest.
What I'm laughing at is the hypocracy of many of the liberals who tout out the "fear mongering" card when republicans also say factual things such as "Hamas endorsed Obama", "Obama would like to have talks with terrorist supporters like Ahmadinejad" stating that they're trying to imply Obama is a terrorist.
I agree with you hautey on those things being Fear mongering type things. But there have been times in the past where Republican ad's or statements that may be "fear" motivated speak facts that point out something legitimate but people on the left try to paint it that they're trying to "Convince" people that if we vote in a liberal we'll get hit, or that obama is a terrorist in the subtext of the message. |
Sigh, I hate the whole Hamas endorsed Obama thing, it sounds bad, and is innacurate.

FactCheck.org: Did Hamas endorse Barack Obama? Quote:
Yousef: We don't mind. Actually, we like Mr. Obama, and we hope he will [inaudible] the election. I do believe he is like John Kennedy, a great man with great principles, and he has a vision to change America, to make it in a position to lead the world community, but not with domination and arrogance.
......
Whether this constitutes a political endorsement is debatable, as Yousef is in no position to vote for Obama himself, nor did he recommend that others vote for him. And endorsements are usually sought-after and greatly publicized, whereas Obama has in no way welcomed Yousef's supposed endorsement

A member of hamas saying that he likes Obama is not the same thing as Hamas the organization endorsing Obama for president. It's spinning it to present it that way, just as the add in this thread subtely(though it is hard to use that word with that add) spins McCain's lobbiests problem to suggest that McCain is likely to support things he probably does not.
