Just admit you love the struggle and that it makes you feel you have a just cause for doing what you like doing.
Any other reason sounds like B.S. to me. Because we ALL know that peace is within your grasp. All you have to do is renounce violence and agree to recognize Israel's right to exist in peace and you will have peace and you will have land.
What you WON'T have is an excuse to hate.
And that is why you don't make peace.
