The United States, as a conquering army, should have the right to establish bases in Iraq and Afghanistan. To the victor go the spoils (that be us
) and having bases so deep within the Middle East would certainly be advantageous and would help maintain peace and allow the U.S. to keep an eye on rogue nations like Syria and Iran.
