So I would say that I would need to make about $40.00 per hour to do that kind of work and make a good living.
And of course the farmers would have to get by with only scoring enough for them to live 'high on the hog' and not become multi millionares.
BTW: It would cost the people around here to pay $6.00 for a dozen ears of corn instead of the $5.50 per dozen we now pay for it. No biggie and doable.
