I believe that if the legal, political, economic and military components are separated from the religion of Islam then everyone will be able to practice the religion as they wish. Devoutly and literally and fundamentally or more tolerantly or in name only or not at all.
But there are some who say that if the legal, political, economic and military components are removed or separated from the religion it is no longer Islam.
And with that understanding I say that Islam and Democracy are incompatible. |
Why? How do those things specifically restrict them from practicing democracy?
