I prefer the term "radical views".

The surveys took the form of representative telephone interviews. The number of interviewees amounted to 1,004 (Germany), 1,115 (Israel) and 500 (U.S.) Thus a total of 2519 people were interviewed for this survey. The interviews were conducted
between 12 January and 26 January 2007.

If it's done by Emnid and Bertelsmann Stiftung, I think, it is done in a high quality way. My favorite TV station, n-tv, did a lot of cooperation with Emnid, however, I think, they are working more with Allensbach meanwhile.

I think, 1,004 persons is representative for Germany. They did not say views held by ethnic Germans, but views held in Germany. So they are three big ethnic groups in Germany, these are German, Turkish and Russian people. There are smaller groups with people from Poland and the Balkans, Denmark, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Vietnam, Iran and Arabia and Africa and China and Japan.
