| Re: Ventura’s 9/11 Questions Break Through Mainstream Media Dam Dear Rogue Nuke,
Thare are a couple of Navy issues about Pearl Harbor, that might be of interest to you. Have you ever heard of an Admiral's Inspection?
Pear harbor was bombed on a Sunday, and an Admiral's Inspection had been ordered for the next Monday. An Admiral's inspection is where all the ammunition is removed from the turrets. Most of the Ammunition had been removed from the turrets of the ships at Pearl Harbor before the Sunday of the bombing, to be ready for Monday's Admiral's Inspection.
Have you ever heard of Mechanical Turret ships? With the advent of aviation, in the 30's, newer ships were built with hydraulic turrets, so as to be able to more quickly turn to shoot more effectively at aircraft. All the ships at Pearl Harbor in Dec. 1941, were Mechanical Turret ships, that were less effective against aircraft.
Many of the newer Hydraulic turret ships were stationed at Manilla Bay, in the Phillipines. The purpose, supposedly, was to make Manilla Bay a less attractive target, so the Japanese would attack Pearl whcih was closer to the US, and the attack would mean more to the American Voter, and Congress.
Thanks for your service in the Navy. You might just ask around some of the older officers, to see what answers you get.
A significant part of the US Military budget is spent in keeping shipping lanes clear.
Sorry to hear about recent near accidents. Keep safe.
..
