What about Pearl Harbor? Do you realize that I work at Pearl Harbor right now? I haven't seen any actual evidence that Pearl Harbor was "allowed" to happen. But many have researched both sides and still the majority of those researchers would point to the lack of intelligence and communication. I work here now and I could see how it could happen. Heck, the lack of communication between the Navy and other island commands today is kinda incredible. For instance, during Pearl Harbor's centenniel last Tuesday, even the Deputy SecNav commented about the Air Force's aircraft flying over our ceremony every 5-10 minutes. Even in the Navy, communication can be bad. When I was on the carrier, our base almost shot down one of our own planes because they were not informed that it would be flying out to meet us. And unfortunately, people get complacent. I will keep my confidence in the official version of this as well, unless you can give me actual evidence that anyone in our government knew Pearl Harbor would occur on the day it did and purposely did not share that info.
