I don't have a particualr position on the issue. I had read my own evidence which speaks against heat as the cause, but gives the fact that steel is weaker at higher temperatures.

But until you are talking about the tempertures in Building 7, we really can't say what the properties of the supporting beams might have been, at the time of the collapse.

People have a stake in believing that sky-scrapers are safe. I personally recommend a parrachute with toggle steering. How long since your last jump?
