And if you think just because someone took some training corses and was given a metal badge you MUST respect them? No... I respect them anyways but they are not superhuman.

You cannot report them to there own people... It wouldnt work unless you had it all on tape because a cops word is greater than an average person. (and it shouldnt be).

Thankfully they have RateMyCop.com - Home

But I was never given a ticket and didnt have a chance to read the cops badge with the whole put my back to him while some female cop searched me (that was cool) and he pointed his gun. I wasnt really thinking about his name badge or raising hell.... I was thinking about not moving.

So if personal experiences cannot be brought to debate then what can?

p.s. This cop had a rock.
Its not a blanket statement, it my personal experiences to listen to people bash cops. Many people at that. So do you respect police officers or not? You respect cops because they are people. Besides they have more training to handle criminal activity than you do, or even to handle hostil situations and investigate crimes. So do you not respect military members? The bottom line is police officers lifes are on the line everyday and if you are calm, respectful and follow their directions you wont have any problem.
