| Re: Congress has money for war but not vets. What they should look at doing, is what Wisconsin has done, in regards to college tuition. They recently passed a GI tuition remission act. Basically as a vet, I do not pay for my tuition while attending a UW school or technical college, so long as I was a Wisconsin resident at the time of my enlistment, or if I have resided within the state for a certain length of time afterwards.
That seems to be a good alternative to increasing federal debt.
