If a Congressman publically says someone is the best candidate, I think most people would take that as a show of support.

Didn't he run in the Repub primary as a Repub and not recieve enough votes to win anything. I guess
rejected must have a different definition in TX.

Wouldn't count your chickens too soon if you think the Repubs are going to go in Paul's direction. The trends are all in the other direction. The good citizens of the US are moving relentlessly forward in their support of the nanny state.
What is it that you think is going to turn that movement around? I mean even you and Ron Paul think Obama, who champions every liberal program known to man, is the answer.
