While i do not agree with the overall tone of your post, i do agree on one point which is that the disrespect of China in our country is not good.
I disagree with the comments as you quoted them.

There are some things we consider "problems" with China.
But China is neither our enemy or a 3rd world country.
And some of us treat China as though it is both.

McCain directly referred to China as our "enemy" in a debate.
I also strongly disagree with this.
China has made no move or statement towards The United States that would indicate that they are our enemy.
Rival maybe. Not enemy.
McCain's insistence that China is our enemy is one of my main reasons for opposing McCain as much as i do.
Even if China is our enemy, its just not something a "Presidential Figure" says publicly for the purpose of political gain.
