The point is that there are things to be proud of. You can bring up negatives all you want, but it does not take away from
things you can take pride in. Quote:

I'm using the word when it doesn't need to be used to show how unnecessary the word is. The word is there, I've had no problem admitting that, but it does not make any difference in this context.
